 In indirect glycol refrigeration system, the refrigerant exchange is carried out by an intermediate fluid, usually water, glycol or brine. This fluid is responsible for the refrigeration power exchange with the refrigerant gas, which is stored in a cooling tank. Later, the cooled fluid is pumped to the final elements of the system such as coils, air coolers, exchangers…While in direct systems, the compressed and condensed refrigerant is responsible for distributing the cooling power to the evaporator units.
