Description
Subcritical CO2 compressor racks with single or double suction, offering a total cooling capacity from 50 to 300 kw.
- Subcritical cycle with single or double suction
A subcritical CO₂ condensing unit for negative temperature can be combined in cascade with a water or glycol condensation circuit. Double suction allows cooling production for ultra-lowtemperature services (deep-freezing) or even positivetemperature services.
CONSTRUCTION
- Construction in a galvanised sheet steel structure with epoxy paint.
- Instrumentation panel with pressure gauges and charging ports.
- Sealed electrical panel independent from the refrigeration compartment.
- Emergency unit for R-744 maintenance.
- Silentblocks for unit installation.
REFRIGERATION CIRCUIT
- Subcritical semi-hermetic compressor for negative temperature, with high-pressure switch, Rotalock valves, crankcase heater and electronic oil level control.
- R-744 cascade circuit with single suction, made of copper tube, equipped with high-pressure R-744 liquid receiver, double safety valve, oil separator-accumulator, particle separator, suction filters, safety pressure switch, filter and liquid sight glass.
- Capacity modulation by frequency inverter (INVERTER) on one compressor.
- Double pressure control valve.
- Receiver pressure regulating valves.
- Pressure regulating valve with relief to medium pressure.
HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT
- Threaded hydraulic connection up to 2 1/2”, and flanged connection from DN80.
- Flanged connection from DN80.
- Double plate heat exchanger for R-744 condensation, sized at 70% of the heat rejection capacity. With shut-off valve, solenoid valve and expansion valve.
- Plate heat exchanger for liquid subcooling.
ELECTRICAL PANEL AND CONTROL
- Electronic controller for control of the R-744 system with single suction setpoint.
REFRIGERATION CIRCUIT
- Change to optional Bitzer.
