Le difluorethane est totalement respectueux de la couche d&#8217;ozone, a une excellente efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique et a un tr\u00e8s faible potentiel de r\u00e9chauffement global (GWP) de seulement 124.<\/h5><p>Sur R152a est couramment utilis\u00e9 comme propulseur d&#8217;a\u00e9rosol, agent moussant ou comme composant de plusieurs m\u00e9langes de r\u00e9frig\u00e9rants. Cependant, il est class\u00e9 comme l\u00e9g\u00e8rement inflammable par l&#8217;ASHRAE, et son utilisation est donc limit\u00e9e dans les applications automobiles et commerciales. Cependant, les r\u00e9centes pr\u00e9occupations concernant le r\u00e9chauffement de la plan\u00e8te, la r\u00e9glementation sur les gaz fluor\u00e9s en Europe et les taxes sur le carbone dans certains pays ont relanc\u00e9 l&#8217;int\u00e9r\u00eat pour les r\u00e9frig\u00e9rants inflammables et les r\u00e9frig\u00e9rants hautement toxiques comme l&#8217;ammoniac.<\/p><h4>Caract\u00e9ristiques du R152a<\/h4><p>Le difluor\u00e9thane est un hydrocarbure fluor\u00e9 pur dont la formule chimique est tr\u00e8s similaire \u00e0 celle du R134a. Sa courbe de pression de vapeur est \u00e9quivalente \u00e0 celle du R134a, avec de faibles \u00e9carts d&#8217;environ 2K. Le R152a a \u00e9galement des caract\u00e9ristiques chimiques \u00e9quivalentes. Il est donc compatible avec tous les mat\u00e9riaux des compresseurs commerciaux et des composants de r\u00e9frig\u00e9ration, des d\u00e9tendeurs thermostatiques et des lubrifiants.<\/p><p>Le R152a pr\u00e9sente \u00e9galement des caract\u00e9ristiques thermodynamiques sup\u00e9rieures \u00e0 celles du R134a ou des HFO. Les coefficients de transfert de chaleur dans les \u00e9vaporateurs et les condenseurs augmentent d&#8217;environ 20% gr\u00e2ce aux meilleures propri\u00e9t\u00e9s physiques du R152a par rapport au R134a. En outre, une viscosit\u00e9 plus faible du gaz entra\u00eene une r\u00e9duction de la chute de pression dans les conduites d&#8217;aspiration d&#8217;environ 30 %. Un poids mol\u00e9culaire plus faible dans le R152a implique une capacit\u00e9 de chaleur latente \u00e9lev\u00e9e, un meilleur rendement volum\u00e9trique du compresseur et un meilleur COP du cycle de refroidissement. Cependant, il a une capacit\u00e9 de refroidissement \u00e9quivalente (-1% par rapport au R134a), et donc le R152a pourrait \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 en remplacement dans les syst\u00e8mes de refroidissement fonctionnant avec du R134a.<\/p><p>En pratique, l&#8217;addition de tous les facteurs dans un m\u00eame syst\u00e8me de refroidissement, permet un gain d&#8217;efficacit\u00e9 d&#8217;environ 20% pour le R152a par rapport au R134a, et encore mieux par rapport au R1234yf. Sur R152a est rest\u00e9 miscible \u00e0 toutes les concentrations dans toute la gamme de temp\u00e9ratures d&#8217;essai de -50C \u00e0 90C.<\/p><p>Le projet a \u00e9galement examin\u00e9 la compatibilit\u00e9 de vingt-quatre mat\u00e9riaux de moteurs herm\u00e9tiques avec onze r\u00e9frig\u00e9rants purs et dix-sept combinaisons r\u00e9frig\u00e9rant-lubrifiant.<\/p><p>Les \u00e9chantillons d&#8217;\u00e9lastom\u00e8re ont \u00e9t\u00e9 compl\u00e8tement immerg\u00e9s dans le r\u00e9frig\u00e9rant test\u00e9. Les \u00e9chantillons expos\u00e9s au R32, R125, R134a, R143a et R152a pr\u00e9sentaient le plus faible gonflement. Comme pour la plupart des r\u00e9frig\u00e9rants, un gonflement important (&gt;35%) a \u00e9t\u00e9 constat\u00e9 avec les caoutchoucs fluor\u00e9s et les silicones.<\/p><p>Les plastiques ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9valu\u00e9s dans le r\u00e9frig\u00e9rant pur. Les r\u00e9frig\u00e9rants HFC semblent avoir le moins d&#8217;effet sur les plastiques, \u00e0 l&#8217;exception du plastique ABS, qui a \u00e9chou\u00e9 dans la plupart d&#8217;entre eux.<\/p><h4>\u00a0<\/h4><h4>Exigences de s\u00e9curit\u00e9<\/h4><p>Le R152a est class\u00e9 par l&#8217;ASHRAE comme r\u00e9frig\u00e9rant de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 moyenne, classe A2, non toxique mais l\u00e9g\u00e8rement inflammable. M\u00eame si les r\u00e8glements de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des syst\u00e8mes de r\u00e9frig\u00e9ration limitent l&#8217;utilisation des r\u00e9frig\u00e9rants de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 moyenne dans les syst\u00e8mes DX de r\u00e9frig\u00e9ration commerciale, ils autorisent leur utilisation, sans limite de charge, dans les syst\u00e8mes de refroidissement indirect et les syst\u00e8mes DX dans l&#8217;industrie.<\/p><p>En raison de la l\u00e9g\u00e8re inflammabilit\u00e9 des fluides frigorig\u00e8nes du groupe 2, des consignes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 accrues seront n\u00e9cessaires, exigeant des solutions sp\u00e9cifiques en mati\u00e8re d&#8217;ing\u00e9nierie des syst\u00e8mes et d&#8217;analyse des risques. Les r\u00e8gles de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 relatives aux atmosph\u00e8res explosives classeraient les installations de refroidissement dans la zone de risque 2 : zones de travail o\u00f9 il n&#8217;est pas probable, dans des conditions de travail normales, qu&#8217;une atmosph\u00e8re explosive puisse se former. Cette classification ne signifie pas, dans un premier temps, qu&#8217;il faille appliquer des mesures ATEX, mais elle permettra plut\u00f4t d&#8217;identifier les zones susceptibles de ne pas \u00eatre class\u00e9es en appliquant des mesures pr\u00e9ventives (telles qu&#8217;une extraction d&#8217;air localis\u00e9e, une ventilation naturelle suffisante, etc&#8230;).<\/p><p>Pour att\u00e9nuer les risques dans les chambres froides, il est recommand\u00e9 d&#8217;installer un d\u00e9tecteur de fuite isolant l&#8217;\u00e9vaporateur et activant la ventilation forc\u00e9e. Cela \u00e9vitera d&#8217;atteindre une concentration dangereuse de r\u00e9frig\u00e9rant dans l&#8217;air et emp\u00eachera le m\u00e9lange explosif. En fait, la charge de r\u00e9frig\u00e9rant qui reste \u00e0 l&#8217;int\u00e9rieur d&#8217;un \u00e9vaporateur est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 20gr par m3 de chambre froide.
