In this context, refrigeration technologies such as <strong>indirect systems with secondary fluids<\/strong>, the use of<strong> natural refrigerants<\/strong>, <strong>heat recovery<\/strong>, and <strong>advanced digitalisation<\/strong> are emerging as key solutions to optimise energy consumption and deliver added value to production processes.<\/p>\n<h3>Installations using secondary fluids: towards greater energy efficiency<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.intarcon.com\/en\/types-of-indirect-systems\/\"><strong>Indirect refrigeration systems<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 those in which the primary refrigerant cools a secondary fluid (water, glycol, or other solutions) \u2014 offer significant advantages over traditional direct-expansion systems:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 1. Safety and Sustainability<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Firstly, the charge of the primary refrigerant (NH\u2083 or hydrocarbons) is confined to a<strong> controlled plant room<\/strong>, drastically reducing the risk of leaks in working or storage areas.<\/p>\n<p>This configuration also facilitates regulatory compliance and lowers costs associated with inspections and additional safety measures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 2.
