Conversion of a direct expansion installation with Freon. This is an installation with a primary pumping circuit between the tank and the chiller and two secondary circuits to services, one for 0ºC chambers and the other for +8/+12ºC rooms. The installed solution is an R-290 chiller for positive temperature, model MWW-KD-21204, MPG 35% -5/-10 ºC; about 140 kW cooling capacity. The chiller and the primary pumping circuit work according to the setpoint of the tank, independent of the running services.
